On Monday, we celebrated my cousin’s birthday with a day at Happy Hallow Park. It was so special to return to a place where we used to visit when we weren’t much older than our sons. Some of the rides looked just like they did years ago. As our sons ran around us in circles chasing each other in and out through the old wooden doors, we just watched the two of them with pure delight. These boys continue to grant us glimpses into our own childhoods and that’s been a true gift each time we come together. I’m looking forward to more days like Monday because capturing these photos, reminds me of all our childhood adventures caught behind film. Can’t wait to meet the newest Kania baby in a couple months!
