Exploring @ the Wild Child Playspace

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” -Fred Rogers

I fell in love with this pop up play space that a friend recommended on Instagram. It’s located in Oakland at the same entrance as Fairyland. It felt like a mini Color Factory for littles to explore in wonder. As an educator, mom, and photographer I loved being able to capture Ronan in his element. While the building is quite small, there are plenty of things to do for a couple of hours and Ronan had no problem navigating his way around. We had so much fun and Jude is already feeling jealous he missed out while he was at school. If you have a free weekend, I highly recommend checking this place out.
