A Look Back at our Visit to the U.S.S. Hornet

“I choose to collect memories not things.” -Elena Levon

It feels like it’s been months since I have posted anything and now that we have the time to sit in our homes, I want to do my best to continue uploading photos of our past adventures. We’ll still make memories in the weeks to come at home, but I’d love to share where we’ve been and hopefully inspire future adventures. We went back to the U.S.S. Hornet in Alameda after our first visit nearly two years ago. It was such a joy watching the boys marvel at the size of the planes on the ship and all the artifacts collected over the years displayed in cases and in the belly of the ship. I love spaces like this that provide the kids with a tangible look into history.

Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!
