Bump to Baby

“Labor is the only blind date where you know you will meet the love of your life.” -Anonymous

This past month has been a whirlwind for us. Between having a new baby, Juju getting croup and then Ronan getting sick it’s been quite challenging at times juggling the sickos in the house. With both boys down and caffeine in my hand, I wanted to take a moment to share our maternity and family photos taken when Ronan was 2 weeks old by one of my old youth. These photos truly capture the real life faces of the Yu household. It makes me laugh and I hope it makes you laugh too. As you can see, Jude is NOT a fan of the camera. All his facial reactions, pretty much sum up the emojis that narrated my last month at home with the boys. From pure joy to utter frustration, but I wouldn’t trade it in for the world because this coming week my big boy is starting full time preschool. All our weekday adventures are now coming to an end and it is time for mama and Roro to build up memories of our own. I would like nothing more than for both of my boys to know that my heart beats for both of them and the time I have with them will always be treasured and cherished. Here’s to another year filled with the best mama adventures I couldĀ ever ask for!

Boys Rule My World

“…for this child I prayed and the Lord has granted the desires of my heart.” -1 Samuel 1:27

It’s been over a week since we brought home our little Ronan. With each growing day, my heart continues to expand as I watch my family of three adjust to being a family of four. Just tonight, Juju stopped at the entrance to his bedroom and told me he needed to tell his Didi he “wuved him” and needed to give him a hug and a kiss before going to bed. These are the special moments that I can’t wait to share with Roro one day. Here are some photos taken during these last couple days and a sneak peek at Ronan’s nursery. Many thanks to both my hubs and my brother-in-law for helping make my Pinterest wishes come true. They helped make the floating hexagon shelves. Also, a huge thanks to Brandon who helped Ken paint the nursery all white. My second favorite color, next to black which even I know would be a too dark for a nursery. Can’t wait to continue capturing the lives or both my sons from now on!
