Anyone whose ever taught in the classroom knows the teaching strategy “Give one, Get one” it’s an oldie, but a goodie that I’ve applied to life outside of the classroom too. I swear every single time I hang out with one of these ladies I learn something new. Over the past five years, I’ve improved my craft as a teacher, a Project Specialist, a friend, a mom, and so much more. From the inside out, these women have shared what they’ve learned so that I don’t have to scramble trying to figure out something new on my on. I couldn’t be more grateful for the connections that we’ve made. Even though we’re almost all at different sites now, our conversations are always something I look forward to.

So what did I learn this weekend from Gina? Not only did I learn how to throw a beautiful wine party, but also how to make a delicious fruit tart! I can’t wait to give it a try. Thank you to our amazing host that made all of the gorgeous and scrumptious delights! Seriously, take notes this gal knows a thing or two about making everything look good and taste good!
