Legacy

“Legacy is not leaving something for people. It’s leaving something in people.” -Peter Strople

This year we paid tribute to Uncle Craig and the life that he lived. He left a legacy that will live on forever in the hearts of the campers, counselors, and staff that have spent time with the man we have all grown to know and love so dearly. This year four of us had the chance to tell our personal story about the impact Uncle Craig had on each of our lives and how it impacted our faith. What he gave to each of us was priceless. All of us had the chance to experience his undivided attention, his love, his prayers, and his words of wisdom over years and years of being in ministry together.

To see my children run through the same camp that I’ve been running through since 1998 was priceless. I’m forever grateful for this place that has been my safe haven and my place of inspiration. I look forward to continuing the work that lays ahead of us and can’t wait to see what the next generation of youth will inspire in others.
