Pigeon Point

“Dance with the waves, move with the sea. Let the rhythm of the water set your soul free.” -Christy Ann Martine

I know I just posted yesterday, but before the holiday season starts and I spend the majority of my weekends shooting other people, I wanted to set aside time to venture with the boys and snap some photos of them in their element. Today, I had a chance to visit Pigeon Point for the second time in my life. The last time I was there, was when I was in 5th grade and we got to stay on site. It’s crazy how that the memory of being at this place over 20 years ago, left such a strong imprint on my mind. I remember climbing the steep stairs and making it to the top of the lighthouse and instead being back there today we found ourselves on the outskirts looking up at the massive light house. This place was magical, even though the light house itself was caged up, waiting for renovations.

We got to take Jennie with us on our adventure today and Jude was obsessed with hanging out with Auntie Jennie. Both boys, loved being by the water and even ventured down to look for shells and coral remains. I’m so grateful for weekends and the chance to pack up the car and head out to somewhere new for a day. Until our next adventure…
