“Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory bank of our children.” -Charles Swindoll
I know it’s kinda of crazy how much we travel as a family, but it’s all been made possible by our Southwest credit card. For a year we get free companion passes for both kids on our cards. Aka we will be flying an extensive amount this year, to make the most of our freebie flights. Don’t get me wrong, traveling isn’t all fun and games. It’s worth all the headache, but let’s be real my younger child is a homebody and is Mr. Cranky pants even when he’s not sick around other strangers. My older one can run on very little sleep, until he just can’t and the meltdown that follows is reallllll. All the feels and tears come out, until he’s let is all out and is ready to party again. But even with all the discomforts of traveling with kiddos, I wouldn’t change these experiences for the world. We were so lucky to get to see my brother over the weekend, making all of Juju’s birthday wishes come true. From Legoland, to watching the HUGE monster truck show from Liz’s incredible office across from the stadium, to a mini Super Bowl/Birthday get together for Juju, his weekend was full of amazing things.
If this is four, what am I going to do when he turns 21? 😉
