“Life should not only be lived, it should be celebrated.” -Osho
It’s been a little over a week since we got back from New York and our quick trip out there was turned out to be a wonderful getaway. We spent many hours just spending time with family and helping with Kingsley’s 7th birthday bash. It was incredibly fun getting to see all my own cousin’s and our kids come together for the first time ever. Even though my Popo is no longer with us, I know she would’ve been beaming with her 100 watt smile if she could’ve been in there. It amazes me how Roro cackled within seconds of meeting my aunt. It took me by surprise, only to realize later than my own son that her voice is identical to my mothers. So as soon as Ronan heard her calling him, he threw up his hands in the air and started squealing. Cutest thing ever! Jude, of course, did not want to leave. If he could stay everywhere we vacation forever and ever, I honestly think he would.
Thank you again for hosting us, Joey & Sunny! You two are some of the hardest working people I have ever known. I wish you both nothing but the best and may these images be a reminder of how much you love all your family and friends and the lengths you’ll go to, to spoil them rotten. From homemade lobster salads, spring rolls, and so much food we all couldn’t finish them, to all the games and prizes made available to all the kids. You both did an extraordinary job of throwing a party, while hosting more than just us at your house. 😉
