Fifteen Magical Sandy Years

“It’s strange indeed how memories lie dormant in a man’s mind for so many years. Yet those memories can be awakened and brought forth fresh and new, just by something you’ve seen, or something you’ve heard, or the sight of an old familiar face.” -Wilson Rawls

I’ve been going to Pajaro once a year since 1998, except for one summer when I got myself into a lot of trouble. Thank goodness I didn’t miss more than one year. This year my little Jude got to join in on all the fun. It was seriously the cutest thing watching him explore the warm sand between his cute little toes and baby palms. The first day he didn’t mind the cold water, but by today he wanted to stay where it was warm. Cheri and I have taken the same two photos since forever ago and this year we let my little man join us. One of these days, I swear her and I will create a time lapse of our beach and loft photos dating back to our dorky days. I simply can’t wait to go back next year. This mini 24 hour vacay was seriously magical.
