I was wrong, the mural will not be done for another few weeks and now I understand why. After the first week, each artist is bringing to life the plants and animals through life like inspirations they’ve taken from our local farm. It’s amazing to stare up close and personal at the head of a chicken and feel it’s beady eyes stare right back at you.
I find myself slowing down each time I make my way to the cafeteria, something that’s not easy to do when the hustle and bustle of a school day runs through my veins. I find that I simply can’t help it, but take in the goodness and to notice the little buzzings of life happening beside me.
